Sidecar
The proportions of the Sidecar are as debated as its origin. While Robert Vermeire's 1922 recipe popularized the equal parts formula, bartenders like David A. Embury later argued for a more balanced approach, and the drink's origin is contested between claims from Paris and London, with no definitive answer.
