Stinger
The Stinger first appeared in Jacques Straub's 1913 “Straub's Manual of Mixed Drinks”, but it rose to fame in the 1920s due to American millionaire Reggie Vanderbilt. Known for his passion for cocktail making, Reggie was credited with popularizing the Stinger, which he often mixed at his Fifth Avenue mansion, and some sources suggest he may have even named the drink.
